South Bay Tech Rescue provides on-site help for Torrance homes and small businesses. We handle common computer, network, printer, account, and setup problems, then explain when a provider or specialist needs to take over.
Is one device affected, or several?
That question often gives a useful starting point. If one computer cannot print but the others can, the problem may be on that computer. If every device loses internet access, the router, modem, or provider may need attention.
Before a visit, make a short list of what works and what does not. It helps keep the visit focused without asking you to perform technical tests on your own.
- One slow or unreliable Windows or Mac computer
- Several devices losing Wi-Fi or internet access
- A shared printer that only works for some people
- A new employee computer or account that needs setup
- Files or backups that are difficult to find or use
Practical help for a small workplace
Small-business support can cover employee computers, office Wi-Fi, shared printers, Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, shared folders, and common backup needs. One-time setup and ongoing needs can both be discussed.
The person who can approve account, equipment, or network changes should be available when those changes are part of the work.
Home technology help stays straightforward
For a home visit, tell us what you want to be able to do again, such as open email, print a document, join Wi-Fi, move photos, or use a new computer. That goal is often more helpful than a technical guess.
If several people use the same equipment, it helps to know whose device or account is affected and who owns the account.
