South Bay Tech Rescue helps Redondo Beach residents and small businesses with everyday technology problems. Start by telling us what you see, even if you do not know the technical name for it. We can help decide whether the problem is suited to an on-site visit, remote help, your internet provider, or another specialist.
Start with the problem you can see
A useful first description can be simple: the computer takes too long to start, the printer says offline, the Wi-Fi drops in one room, or a warning keeps returning. You do not need to diagnose the cause before calling.
We use the device, the message on the screen, and what changed before the problem began to narrow down a practical next step.
- Slow, frozen, crashing, or non-starting computers
- Weak Wi-Fi, dropped connections, and devices that will not connect
- Printer setup, offline messages, and scanning help
- New-device setup, file moves, and easier-to-use settings
- Suspicious warnings, pop-ups, and possible scam concerns
When an on-site visit is useful
An on-site visit can be a good fit when the problem involves equipment, cables, Wi-Fi coverage, a printer, several connected devices, or a computer that will not get online. Seeing the technology where it is normally used can make the next step clearer.
South Bay Tech Rescue is a mobile service, not a walk-in shop. Call before bringing or moving any equipment.
When remote help may be enough
Some email, software, update, and settings questions may be suitable for remote help when the computer turns on and has a working internet connection.
For safety, begin remote help only after calling the number on this website. Screen sharing starts only with your approval, and you can stop it at any time.
